Ottawa Jazz Radio was created to fill a need for a jazz station in Canada's capital city.

We're featuring local and Canada-wide jazz artists, along with U.S. and international performers for an enjoyable blend of high quality music.

Our official launch is February 1, 2024 when we'll be starting our local programming. Our goal is to provide Ottawa jazz fans with their favorite music along with local information all within a single destination.

Ottawa Jazz Radio is not a terrestial station that broadcasts over the airwaves. Instead, we are 100% digital, available only on the Internet and a variety of mobile apps. As such, we can be enjoyed all over Canada. The station is fully licensed under SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) which means our artists are paid royalties every time we air their songs. Ottawa Jazz Radio has a strict policy of only purchasing music, to further support the artists we feature.
