Over the past 29 years, Greek Media Group has entertained, assisted, in- formed and connected thousands of Greek Australians all around Australia. 3XY Radio Hellas was launched in 1994 and Ta Nea Newspaper was launched in 1995 by its founder the late Spiros Stamoulis . His legacy is continued today by the Stamoulis family.3XY Radio Hellas reaches listeners in Melbourne, Victoria as well as other States and its voice can be heard all over the world through the internet.

Programmes include community, health, education, religious, musical dedications, social current affairs, local and overseas news, talk back programmes in Greek and youth programmes in English.3XY has conducted many radiothons, raising millions of dollars with the trust and generocity of the huge Greek community of Victoria, for fire victims in Greece, fire victims of Black Saturday, Earthquake victims, the Children’s Hospital, the Tsunami victims and local service providers, such as the Greek Welfare Assoc, Fronditha Care for the Elderly and Agapi Care for children with special needs.Ta Nea Newpaper provides readers with the latest local events and community news, with an extensive sports and english section. Ta Nea newspaper keeps readers informed of all the latest National and International news,with a focus on the latest news from Greece and Cyprus.
