WKZU Kudzu 104.9 FM

Founded in the mid-90's, Kudzu Classic Country Radio 104.9 began as Kudzu 102.3 FM.  The unstoppable demand for Classic Country resulted in the Kudzu Classic Country radio station moving "up the dial", changing frequencies from 102.3 FM to 104.9 FM - adding over 48,000 watts of power! 

In 2019, Kudzu Classic Country, along with our sister station The Shark Classic Rock, was purchased by JC Media, LLC owners Chris and Melinda Marsalis. They expanded the existing "Sunday Morning Gospel Show", restarted the "Rollin' Hills Bluegrass Show", and added a local songwriter's spotlight -- all while retaining the classic country music programming that started it all.
